RECOUNT, Senator Obama. 57 States? RECOUNT!!!!

If Senator John McCain had claimed, as Senator Barack Obama has, that there are 57 United States of America, it is highly probable that the old Vietnam vet, elected time and again by the good citizens of Arizona and standing alone as the Republican nominee for President of these FIFTY United States, would be accused of senility. Democrats, in such a situation could be counted on to gleefully jump on any such comment by Senator McCain and use it to discredit him.

Senator Obama, however, handled as usual with kid gloves by the mainstream American media, is likely to escape this gaffe with much less damage to his image than Senator McCain "suffers" whenever he makes some gaffe, say about Sunnis and Shiites in the Middle East.

This, while at the same time President Bush is accused of being a conniving evil genius and incurably moronic chief executive. At the same time, people, you accuse him of being a dunce and a genius! How? Why?! Come on, do you even take yourselves seriously?!

Anyway, I for one will not let Senator Barack Obama's claim of having visited/campaigned in 57 States go unmentioned or criticized. This is a man, we must remember, running for the highest executive office job in the land. This is a guy who claimed, after tornadoes hit one State, that 10,000 people had died (the figure, of course, was much less). This is a candidate, we must remember, who wants to cuddle with dictators, rather than clobber them.

Fifty-seven States, Senator Obama? Check your math. And we all should, too. If he's inflating the number of States we have, arbitrarily increasing the size of our Union without Congressional consent, who is to say the guy really has as many Jackass delegates as the media says he has?

I dunno about you, but Clinton's lie about landing in the Balkans under fire pales in comparison to Obama's adding States to our Union without telling us where they are. Sheesh.
